The data from the previous load is still there, only now there are a lot of FFFFFFs there at the end, as the new device is largerġ1. Once the chip is proven blank you can look at the bufferġ0. Find the bigger chip in the burner "device" list, insert the bigger blank chip (Inserted the correct way) and hit select.Ĩ. Switch back from "buffer" tab to "message log" tabħ.
Now look at the bigger chip part number (Chip needs to be the same pinout as the original if you used a chip)Ħ. Select/ hilite all of that data, from 00000000 through to the end and copy it to the clipboard *ĥ. The whole buffer should be filled with data (Hex)ģ. Using a known good EPROM, to make a copy, select the donor IC (Inserted the correct way) from the device list in the burner, then insert the chip and hit "read" Load the file from MAME into the burner using "open" etcī. Paste the copied file and rename the file so it ends in ".bin" or binary. Find the file in MAME, copy and paste it into another folder (on Desktop etc) so the original remains intactĬ.
